ONE OF the faces we see on television as a member of Che-che Lazaro’s  Probe Team in 1995-2003, broadcast journalist Jay Cesora Orense, who later on became GMA Network’s executive producer from 2003 until recently before he moved to TV5 as program manager, presents Silence Speaks, a photographic exhibition of his travels depicting human interaction or the lack thereof — still and without sound. Armed with his never-can’t-leave-without-you gadget, Orense catches scenes from other worlds with the probing eye of an observer as his subjects appear transfixed into their own inner worlds.

The exhibit opens this August 21st, Saturday, here in Tomato Bomb, 7pm, with Jay Orense and a host of other guests. Diwa de Leon, Escape the C, Indak Oryantal belly dancers and other guest artists will hold the evening to a merry standstill.

Everyone is invited. Admission is free.
